Oshiai — Two players, one phone: push the line
A browser game for two players on one phone, with no sign-up. Lay the phone flat on a table and sit facing each other: the bottom half (○) belongs to one player and the top half (△) to the other. Text for the top player is drawn upside down so it reads the right way from across the table. One side lights up at a time, at irregular intervals; when it’s yours, tap and the line between you moves into your opponent’s half. The faster you react, the further it moves. Tap when your side isn’t lit and the line slides back toward you, so mashing or swiping earns nothing. Each round lasts 10 seconds, and whoever has pushed the line into the other half when time runs out takes the round. Push it all the way to your opponent’s edge and you win the round on the spot. First to three rounds wins the match. Both sides light up the same number of times every round. On a computer, the top player uses the A key and the bottom player uses L. This is not an online game: both players share the same device, and nothing is saved.
How to play
- Lay the phone flat and sit facing each other. The half nearest you is yours (bottom = ○, top = △)
- When both players tap their own side, a 3-2-1 countdown starts the round
- When your side lights up, tap it. The line moves into the other half — the faster you tap, the further it goes
- Tap when your side isn’t lit (including when theirs is) and you get pushed back a little. Each light scores only once
- If the line is in their half after 10 seconds, the round is yours; push it all the way to their edge to win at once. First to three rounds wins
Keyboard: A top player (△) taps / L bottom player (○) taps (holding a key or key repeat counts only once)
