Oto — Match the pitch
A pitch-matching game: hear the reference note, then slide up or down on the screen to bring your own note to the same pitch. The moment you let go it is judged and your error is shown in numbers, like “12 cents too high”. Five kinds are mixed into each 8-question set — played together, a different timbre, short beeps, from memory, and a wobbling note — and your best total is saved. With the sound off, both notes are drawn as waves so you can play by eye.
How to play
- Press the screen to hear your own note. Keep holding and slide up or down to raise or lower it (up is higher)
- Let go when you think it matches the reference. It is judged the moment you let go; the gold line shows the true pitch
- When both notes play together, the “wah-wah” wobble slows down as you get close and disappears when they match. Tap the circle on the left to hear the reference again
- Turn the sound off (🔇) and the reference appears as a white wave. Match how tightly your wave is packed and you have the same pitch. Your 8-question total is saved
